Citizens National Bank Strengthens Business Banking Services with New Officer

July 22, 2026

Citizens National Bank (CNB) is pleased to announce the addition of Caleb Nichols as its newest Business Banking Officer, further strengthening the bank's commitment to helping local businesses grow, succeed, and thrive across Northern Michigan.

Nichols brings a unique blend of executive financial leadership, strategic planning expertise, and relationship-focused service to his new role. Prior to joining CNB, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Integrated Production Solutions in Franklin, Tennessee, where he oversaw financial strategy, forecasting, operational efficiency initiatives, and executive reporting. Before being named CFO, Nichols held the position of Director of Finance, helping guide significant organizational growth and contributing to the company's consistent revenue expansion.

A graduate of Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Finance and Business Marketing, Nichols has built his career around helping organizations understand financial performance, allocate capital wisely, and pursue sustainable growth. His background includes experience in corporate finance, performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting, investor relations, and executive-level financial communications.

Nichols brings more than a decade of experience in corporate finance and will serve customers throughout Charlevoix and Emmet counties from our full-service Petoskey branch. While his primary focus will be on commercial loans and deposits, he will also assist businesses with their broader banking and financial needs.

Nichols sees his new role as an opportunity to combine his passion for relationship banking with his commitment to community involvement. He and his family are excited to return to Northern Michigan, establish roots, and become part of a region that values strong local connections. Nichols is eager to support area businesses and contribute to the continued growth and vitality of the communities CNB serves.

CNB President and CEO Matthew Keene said Nichols' experience and passion for serving others make him an exceptional addition to the bank's team.

"Caleb brings a rare combination of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and genuine care for people," said Keene. "Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an ability to help organizations grow while never losing sight of the relationships that make success possible. As a community bank, we believe banking is ultimately about people helping people, and Caleb embodies that philosophy.

"We are excited to welcome Caleb and his family to Northern Michigan," Keene added. "With strong family ties to the region, we look forward to the positive impact he will have on our customers, our communities, and our organization for years to come."

CNB continues to invest in talented professionals who share its commitment to exceptional customer service, community involvement, and helping individuals and businesses achieve financial success.
