Fire Station Driveway Apron Replacement Underway

Concrete work has begun on the sidewalk and driveway apron in front of the Fire Station at 300 W. Burlington Avenue. During this time, the area will be blocked off to foot traffic to allow construction to occur. Those who walk, jog, or ride their bikes in the area are encouraged to utilize an alternative route during this time. As a reminder, motorists should obey all construction signage and be mindful of pedestrians, vehicles, and construction machinery.

The timing of construction activities is variable and weather dependent. The sidewalk and apron work is expected to continue for approximately two more weeks before the area will be passable.
