1st St. closed north of Main St. starting Thursday, October 23
(October 22, 2025) As part of the city's downtown reconstruction project, 1st St. will be closed north of Main St. for about a week so that the 1st St. intersection can be reconstructed. The road will close at 9 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, and will reopen by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 31 (weather permitting).
During the closures, traffic on 1st St. will be directed to use Walnut St. and 2nd St. as an alternate route to and from Main St. Detour signs will guide drivers through the area.
Please use caution while driving in the work zone, or find an alternate route in advance. Use the Waze app to navigate around road closures. Learn more about Waze or install it on your smartphone.
