BROTHERS OSBORNE HONORED AT 2025 NMPA GOLD & PLATINUM GALA FOR 3X PLATINUM HIT “STAY A LITTLE LONGER”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - GRAMMY-winning duo Brothers Osborne were recently celebrated at the 2025 NMPA Gold & Platinum Gala, held at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, where they were honored for their 3x Platinum-certified hit "Stay A Little Longer." The pair also delivered one of the evening's standout performances at the industry's largest celebration of country songwriters.

Hosted by the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA), the annual gala recognized over 150 songwriters whose country hits achieved Gold, Platinum, and Multi-Platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) during the July 2024 - June 2025 eligibility period. More than 70 Multi-Platinum songwriters were honored on stage throughout the night.

Brothers Osborne, known for their powerhouse musicianship and genre-bending sound, performed "Stay A Little Longer" to a packed room of peers and industry leaders. The song, a fan favorite and career-defining hit, has now surpassed three million certified units in the U.S.

"'Stay A Little Longer' has taken on a life of its own over the years," said TJ Osborne. "It's an incredible feeling to see it still resonate with people." John Osborne added, "Being recognized by the NMPA among so many of our songwriting heroes is something we'll never take for granted."

The star-studded evening also featured Maddie & Tae, who were honored and performed their 4x Platinum hit "Die From a Broken Heart." Dean Dillon received the prestigious Platinum Anthem Award for the year's highest-certified song-the 17x Platinum "Tennessee Whiskey"-presented by his daughter, Jessie Jo Dillon, followed by a moving tribute performance from ERNEST.

Additional honorees included Amy Allen, named Top Female Songwriter of the Year, and Ashley Gorley, who earned Top Male Songwriter of the Year for the third consecutive year.

The 2025 NMPA Gold & Platinum Gala once again shined a spotlight on the writers and artists who define the sound of country music today, celebrating their enduring impact and continued success.
