Sculptor Real Estate first entered the land financing space in 2008. Few large-scale asset managers have the expertise and on-the-ground infrastructure needed to pursue the strategy. This is a space where capital providers have come and gone due to its complexity, and only a few have been consistently successful across multiple economic cycles.
