Amazon joined education and technology leaders from around the world at the United Nations General Assembly in support of First Lady Melania Trump's Fostering the Future Together (FTFT) global coalition. The coalition brings together first spouses and leaders from more than 45 countries with a shared goal: helping children learn, grow, and thrive through the safe, responsible, and innovative use of technology, including AI. AWS is the first cloud provider approved for use by all NATO member nations when handling information at the NATO RESTRICTED level. NATO, its defense industry partners, and all member nations can now use approved AWS services across 15 AWS Regions in NATO countries, seven in mainland Europe. The Alliance-wide approval gives allies a pre-assessed security baseline, reducing the time and cost of national accreditation.
