Headline: Ferguson Names 2025 Carrier of the Year award Recipients

Ferguson names the recipients of its second annual Carrier of the Year awards, recognizing logistic organizations across its network for exceptional service, operational discipline and commitment to excellence. These carriers play a crucial role in supporting a reliant supply chain and meeting customers' needs in a dynamic transportation environment. The awards recognize consistent execution, effective use of technology and a collaborative approach to continuous improvement - qualities that strengthen Ferguson's supply chain and advance the logistics industry as a whole.

Each of our Carrier of the Year recipients has contributed to a supply chain that is resilient, agile and evolving. Award recipients were selected based on performance in key areas including customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, communication, on-time delivery and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) compliance.

The year's recipients are as follows:

Truckload Carrier of the Year: Werner® (Winner for second consecutive year)

Werner delivered exceptional performance again this year, achieving a 98% on-time delivery rate across approximately 30 million miles and 120,000 stops, including a 15% year-over-year increase in volume. This consistent performance supported dedicated fleet transitions at four distribution centers and launch of service at Ferguson's new Dallas MDC.

We're honored to accept the Ferguson Truckload Carrier of the Year award. LTL Carrier of the Year: R+L Carriers

With more than 12 years of experience supporting Ferguson's logistics network, R+L Carriers has grown alongside the organization, R+L Carriers has grown alongside the organization, from supporting earlier eCommerce operations to becoming one of Ferguson's largest national LTL carriers, servicing all 15 DCs. In 2025, R+L achieved a 96% on-time delivery rate and increased network volume by 16% year-over-year, managing over 250,000 outbound loads and approximately $50 million in annual spend while consistently meeting our rigorous financial and service performance expectations.

This award is a recognition of the collaboration between the R+L operations team and personnel at Ferguson. Each day is an opportunity for R+L Carriers to leverage new technology and streamline operations to better accommodate Ferguson's customers. International Ocean Carrier of the Year: ZIM Integrated Shipping Services

With more than six years of working alongside Ferguson, ZIM Integrated Shipping Services has established itself as a key ocean carrier through consistent execution and reliable performance across global trade lanes. In 2025, ZIM achieved an
​88% collective score - the highest among high-volume carriers. ZIM led all carriers in booking acceptance, space guarantee and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) performance, providing Ferguson with dependable capacity, improved visibility and greater operational consistency across its internal shipping network.

Partner of the Year: U.S. Bank

Ferguson introduced a new category this year - Global Logistics Partner of the Year - recognizing an external organization that demonstrates excellence, leadership and alignment with strong execution across the logistics network.

U.S. Bank, a third-party service provider, was named the inaugural winner of this award. U.S. Bank was selected as the freight audit provider in May 2023 and the successful October launch supporting 31 LTL and truckload carriers. Over the last two years, the program expanded to support 43 additional domestic and international transportation providers across courier, drayage, ocean and air services.

Through its independent freight audit services, U.S. Bank has processed more than $830 million in freight invoices, improving cash flow through direct carrier payments. The team executed complex GL coding updates and integrated Ferguson Home and Infor Nexxus data sources, reducing manual matching. Automated rules and exception workflows supported zero SOX deficiencies for fiscal year 2025, reinforcing strong financial controls and operational integrity.

The awards were presented on Jan. 15, during a special ceremony in Newport News, Virginia, at Ferguson's headquarters. The event brought together industry leaders, executives and representatives across the logistics and transportation sector.
