Education Minister visits Gadeha Junior camp

Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, visited the Gadeha Junior training camp at Exhibition World Bahrain, held under the directives of Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander.

The Education Minister highlighted the importance of summer programmes and courses for young participants that provide opportunities to make positive and productive use of their time.

Dr. Juma commended the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to support youth and harness national capabilities and resources to encourage creativity and excellence. He also highlighted the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to provide programmes, resources and capabilities that support national objectives in developing youth skills and providing an environment that enables them to excel.

The Education Minister was briefed on the camp's training programmes and field activities, which aim to develop participants' physical and mental capabilities, enhance their skills, and instil the principles of commitment, discipline, cooperation, teamwork and self-confidence.

Dr. Juma commended HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad's directives to organise the Gadeha Junior camp, reflecting His Highness's commitment to the comprehensive development of youth from an early age, directing their energies towards developing their capabilities and discovering their potential, and contributing to their future and that of the Kingdom.

He also expressed pride in the leading role of Brigadier His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Operations, in developing physical programmes and sporting and social initiatives that contribute to enhancing the skills of Bahraini youth.

The Education Minister commended the commitment demonstrated by the young participants, reflecting their sense of responsibility and determination to gain the greatest physical and personal benefit from the camp. He noted that physical education is an essential part of the Ministry of Education's educational system and of students' comprehensive development in educational institutions, which the ministry works to promote from early childhood.

Dr. Juma expressed appreciation for all efforts to organise the camp and its programmes and field training, which provided a valuable experience. He added that the high level of participation in the camp reflects its success.
