Taylor Red Singer Nicole Taylor Dies At 35: 'We Are Heartbroken'

Country artist Nicole Taylor has died after a battle with cancer. She was 35.

Nicole Taylor was one third of trio Taylor Red with triplet sisters Nika Taylor and Natalie Taylor, who announced their sister's passing in a video on TikTok on Monday (November 2). Nika Taylor said as she opened the clip, "We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our sister, Nicole Taylor. We honestly thought she'd be healed here on Earth, but now she's healed in Heaven."

Natalie Taylor said her sister was diagnosed with "an aggressive type" of breast cancer at Stage 3 in 2022. She said her sister immediately focused on her faith, and continued to do so after her cancer progressed to a Stage 4. Nika and Natalie Taylor said their sister "fought it fearlessly," "remained really hopeful," and "tried to have fun," even while facing cancer.

"Around nine months later, she had a more serious diagnosis, and after she asked the doctor she prognosis, they said it was around three months and if the treatments worked, they didn't know how long after that," Nika Taylor shared. Natalie said she was there when Nicole Taylor received the news from her doctor, and introduced a video her late sister recorded in her early 20s. Nicole Taylor shared the story of her faith journey, saying, in part, "God's given me so much purpose and joy, and I'm so thankful that I committed my life to Him."

"She lived around a year after that prognosis, and during the time of the more extreme diagnosis, we felt led to not live in fear and claim healing, and God encouraged us in so many ways," Natalie Taylor said. Nika Taylor added of her late sister, "She said she had so much peace, and we are really thankful for that. We are still shocked and didn't think this would happen, but we know she's not suffering anymore, and we have God's promise of ultimate healing."

Natalie and Nika Taylor further spoke about Nicole Taylor in a longer, emotional, faith-focused video shared on YouTube. They considered Nicole Taylor, the eldest of the triplets, "our fearless leader." Find full YouTube video here. See the TikTok below.
