(July 14, 2025) The northbound Dallas Parkway frontage road closes tonight, July 14, at 11 p.m. and reopens by 5 a.m. Tuesday morning, July 15. The closure is from Stonebrook Pkwy. to Cotton Gin Rd. so that the widened bridge can be readied for a traffic switch. The exit ramp from the northbound Dallas North Tollway (DNT) to Cotton Gin Road and Main Street will also be closed during this time. See map (PDF)
When the frontage road reopens in the morning, traffic on the frontage road bridge will switch to the new pavement on the west side of the bridge so work can start on the old pavement.
Use caution in these work zones and to seek an alternate route in advance for the overnight closure. When the road reopens Tuesday morning, drivers exiting from the DNT are urged to pay special attention to the new lane alignment on the frontage road bridge.
Drivers can use the Waze app to navigate around road closures. Click here to learn about Waze or install it on your smartphone.
