University Senate Thursday October 23, 2025
In case you don't know me, my name is Dr. Stephanie Jett, and I'm the presiding officer of the University Senate this year. Last week's Senate meeting (Oct. 17) was jam packed with news from all areas on campus, and we want to make sure that information gets out to as many folks as we can in a way that's accessible and engaging. As a result, we are using this new format for distributing a summary to not only members of Senate, but the broader campus community! This newsletter is meant to supplement the information sent out on Front Page by the Secretary of Senate, Dr. Alex Blazer, which includes the full reports given by the President, Provost, Staff Council and SGA as well as other important information. So be on the lookout for his announcement as well.
