The City of Sioux City Engineering Division announces the closure of 39th Street from Jackson Street to Nebraska Street. This one block closure will allow city crews to make necessary street repairs. Work will begin the morning of Monday, April 6, 2026, and is expected to be completed by end of day Friday, April 10, 2026, weather dependent. Motorists are advised to reduce speed, drive cautiously, and obey all traffic control signs during this closure.
