05/26/2026 - Updated: Traffic Revision at the Intersection of Boulevard Rd SE & Cedar Park Way Loop

Updated: Traffic Revision Rescheduled for June 11

The previously announced traffic revision at the intersection of Boulevard Rd SE and Cedar Park Loop for Monday, June 1, has been rescheduled to Thursday, June 11, during the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The traffic revisions occurring at the intersection is to allow the contractor, for the adjacent Habitat for Humanity project located on the east side of Boulevard Road, to repave sections of the roadway.

Northbound and southbound traffic on Boulevard Road will be routed onto a temporary road surface located on the Habitat for Humanity parcel. This will allow vehicular traffic to continue moving while also to avoiding the construction area. Vehicles will not be able maneuver between Boulevard Rd SE and Cedar Park Loop during the construction as the intersection and a small portion of Cedar Park Loop will be closed. Residents needing to access to Cedar Park Loop will be directed to use the existing/additional connection via Log Cabin Road and the neighborhood to the north. Portions of Cedar Park Loop and Reading Street will also be restricted to facilitate repaving within the subdivision as well. Extra flaggers will be onsite to escort local traffic around Cedar Park Loop. School bus pick up/drop off on Boulevard Road at this intersection will be accommodated.

Detours and signage will be in place during the construction hours, and the roadways will re-open at the end of the day. Please follow all posted signage and use caution when traveling in the area. If possible, use alternate routes to avoid delays.
