M-43 chip sealing starts June 8 in Hastings

HASTINGS, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing approximately $800,000 to chip seal 6 miles of M-43 from the Hastings north city limit to Usborne Road.

Traffic restrictions:
Lane closures and traffic shifts will be in effect throughout the project. Both directions of traffic will share one lane and alternate via traffic regulators.

This investment will increase the service life of M-43 and improve safety and ride quality.
