Fedorchak reminds North Dakota students of approaching Congressional App Challenge deadline

Bismarck, ND - Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak (R-ND) encourages middle and high school students across North Dakota to submit their projects for the 2026 Congressional App Challenge by Monday, October 26, at noon ET.

"North Dakota is full of bright, talented young people with big ideas. From agriculture to energy, innovation is part of who we are, and our students are the next generation of problem solvers," Fedorchak said. "As technology continues to transform how we live and work, learning to develop these tools is more important than ever. The Congressional App Challenge is a great opportunity for students to put their creativity and skills to work. I encourage students across our state to take advantage of this opportunity and show what North Dakota ingenuity can do."

The Congressional App Challenge is a nationwide competition that encourages middle and high school students to explore computer science, develop coding skills, and solve real-world problems through technology. Students are invited to design and create their own original software applications, with submissions accepted across a variety of platforms.

The competition provides students with hands-on experience in technology and encourages the next generation of American innovators.

Students interested in participating can learn more about competition rules, eligibility, and submission requirements at www.congressionalappchallenge.us.
