The ceremony celebrated the strong partnership between Caerphilly Veterans Support Hub, the Council and the wider Armed Forces community, reaffirming our shared commitment to supporting serving personnel, veterans and their families through the Armed Forces Covenant.
Deputy Leader, Cllr Carol Andrews, said:
"We are proud to stand alongside our Armed Forces community and recognise the service and sacrifice of those who have served, and those who continue to serve. Today's ceremony is a reminder of our ongoing commitment to ensuring veterans, serving personnel and their families receive the support they deserve."
Armed Forces Champion, Cllr Teresa Heron, added:
"The Armed Forces Covenant is more than a pledge - it is a commitment to ensuring no member of the Armed Forces community faces disadvantage because of their service. It is an honour to support today's event and to celebrate the invaluable contribution our veterans and service personnel make to our communities."
