At JECohen, we believe that expanding access and creating opportunities are essential-not just in financial planning, but in every corner of our communities. On July 27, 2026, New Orleans-based JECohen Financial Advisor Selina Harrell put those values into action by serving as a Community Service Volunteer at the Advocates Professional Golf Association (APGA) Tournament held at TPC Louisiana.
The APGA Tour is dedicated to bringing greater diversity, equity, and inclusion to professional golf by preparing minority golfers to compete at the highest levels of the game. Volunteering alongside the Luxury Girls Golf Club, Selina helped support event operations while ensuring a warm, welcoming experience for players, guests, and spectators alike.
Through this collaborative effort, Selina helped represent the Luxury Girls Golf Club while championing a movement that opens doors for future generations in golf.
"It was a fantastic opportunity to give back, support the growth of the sport, and encourage greater representation in golf," said Harrell. "Whether on the course or in financial management, creating pathways for underrepresented communities to thrive is something I am deeply passionate about."
Community leadership requires active engagement. By volunteering at TPC Louisiana, Selina helped highlight the power of representation and the importance of fostering inclusive spaces across sports and industry.
JECohen is immensely proud of Selina's continued dedication to community service, inclusion, and leadership both on and off the green.
