Coweta County: Detour US 29 /SR 14 at Hwy 154 for routine maintenance

Intersection US 29/ SR 14 at SR 154 -Routine Maintenance - Suggested Detour

WHAT: GDOT will detour traffic while routine maintenance is being performed. There will be paving at the RR tracks. The work will be done on October 31 -November 2, 2025. There are advance warning signs to notify motorists in advance of this operation. Drivers are encouraged to drive alert in the work zone and slow their speeds around the workers and equipment.

THE DETOUR ROUTE :

  • State Route 14 North Bound to turn right on State Route 74 and travel to I-85 South Bound(Exit 61). Travel to (Exit 51) State Route 154.
  • State Route 14 South Bound to turn left on State Route 34 and travel to I-85 North Bound(Exit 47). Travel to (Exit 51) State Route 154.
  • From State Route 154 follow the above directions back to State Route 14.


WHEN: Starting Friday, October 31, 2025, at 9:00 pm until Sunday,, Novermber 2,2025, at 10 pm

WHERE: Intersection of US 29/ SR 14 at SR 154, Coweta County

Advisory: Dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
