On 31 January 2026, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Penang organised the 100th-day merit-making ceremony dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at Wat Chayamangkalaram to express deepest condolences and commemorate Her Majesty's immeasurable royal grace. In this event, Phra Maha Jaroon Theerathammo (Suwanna), Abbot of Wat Prem Sattha presided over the ceremony for the monks and H.E. Mr. Psusist Wongsurawat, Consul-General of Thailand in Penang, presided for the seculars with the presence of officials, staffs, and family members of the Consulate-General and Thai communities in Penang.
