US-2 resurfacing project in Iron County starts May 6

CRYSTAL FALLS, Mich. ­- The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $9.5 million to resurface approximately 2 miles of US-2 from the Wisconsin state line to Airport Road, Iron County. The project will include asphalt crushing, shaping and resurfacing, drainage improvements, guardrail, signs and pavement markings. This project is covered by five-year materials and workmanship pavement warranties.
