Chisolm Road Closed to Through Traffic Jan. 20

A portion of Chisolm Road between JoJo Road and Legacy Oaks Drive will be closed to through traffic beginning Tuesday, Jan. 20 for abandonment of an air relief valve. This is an ECUA project.

Detours will be in place beginning Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 7 a.m. on Chisolm Road, with traffic detoured along East Johnson Avenue, Jernigan Road, and JoJo Road. Drivers traveling on Chisolm Road should use extra caution and follow road crew instructions and posted signs when traveling through the work zone. The road is expected to reopen by Friday, Jan. 23, weather permitting.

Residents, pedestrians, and emergency vehicles will have access to properties within the work area at all times; however, there may be short periods when a driveway or entrance may be blocked temporarily as equipment and materials are moved during construction.

If other roadway closures are necessary or work is delayed, another notice will be issued.
