Multiple Publications Recognize Wentworth in 2026 'Best Colleges' Lists

Wentworth Institute of Technology is celebrating a month of prestigious national recognition, earning high marks from publications including The Wall Street Journal, U.S. News & World Report, and Forbes.

For the second consecutive year, Wentworth has been named to The Wall Street Journal's prestigious "Best Colleges in America" list. This ranking, a collaboration with College Pulse and Statista, considers student outcomes, learning environment, and diversity. Out of approximately 4,000 degree-granting institutions in the United States, only 584 are included in this list.

Wentworth has also continued its impressive climb in the U.S. News & World Reportrankings. The university now sits at #28 in the Regional Universities (North) category, a significant jump of 34 spots since 2019. The university was also recognized as a "Best Value School," and its undergraduate engineering and computer science programs received national recognition.

Forbeshas once again recognized Wentworth on its "Top Colleges" list. The Forbesmethodology focuses on affordability, alumni earnings, and educational outcomes, including graduation rates and alumni leadership.

Rounding out the accolades, The Princeton Reviewhas named Wentworth to two of its prestigious lists: "Best Northeast" and "Green Colleges." The "Best Northeast" designation highlights academically outstanding institutions, while the "Green Colleges" list recognizes schools with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility.
