Excessive Heat Safety and Relief Strategy Update 10.11.24
The days and nights are getting cooler across the state with the end of another Arizona summer. Today, the ADCRR announced to the incarcerated population and staff a series of actions that will become effective October 21, 2024, to shift away from the Department's Excessive Heat Relief Strategy.
The full announcement, attached to this update, further explains the actions going into effect beginning October 21st.
ADCRR appreciates everyone's patience, flexibility, and understanding during this past summer's difficult excessive heat warnings.
