CLARKSVILLE, TN. - Clarksville Parks & Recreation invites the community to join The Hub, a celebration of unity, wellness, and gratitude, on Saturday, November 15, from 3-6 p.m. at the Kleeman Recreation Center, 166 Cunningham Lane.
The Hub's mission is to connect residents with valuable community resources and wellness opportunities that enhance the quality of life for underrepresented populations in Clarksville. This event reflects the broader Wellness Hub vision bringing health, connection, and opportunity to every neighbor through shared experiences, access to resources, and community driven support.
This year's event will feature a free Thanksgiving-style dinner for the first 300 guests, prepared by Manna Café Ministries and sponsored by Ascension Saint Thomas. Guests can also explore local resource booths, family-friendly activities, and special attractions such as The Science Guys, who will present an interactive "Kitchen Chemistry" experience for all ages.
Families in attendance will have the opportunity to win door prizes, enter into a drawing for 30 turkeys, generously provided by Daniel Ingram Insurance LLC, and access to the Mayor's Youth Council Food Pantry, where each family can fill one tote bag with non-perishable food items while supplies last.
"With The Hub, we want to create a space where everyone can come together, enjoy a meal, and discover the support available in our community," said Ereka Clark, Recreation Superintendent. "We are proud to offer an event that uplifts and connects families while celebrating the spirit of giving."
With over a dozen community partners participating, The Hub continues to serve as a bridge between residents and the many services, organizations, and wellness providers that make Clarksville strong.
