TAMPA, FL (April 18th, 2026)- Tampa Police have arrested a man in connection to a shooting at the 1200-block of N. Marion Street.

Eric Gaddis (DOB: 03/23/1985) is charged with two counts of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and Resisting Officer Without Violence.

On April 17th, 2026, officers responded to a report of a shooting on North Marion Street. When officers arrived, they located two adult males with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital. One victim has since been released, the other remains in critical condition.

While officers were responding they observed an individual running from the area that matched the suspect description. This individual was detained and later identified as Gaddis. He told investigators he shot the two men because he felt threatened.

This remains an active investigation.
