The C.H. Robinson Foundation, the philanthropic arm of global logistics leader C.H. Robinson, today announced the recipients of its '20 for 20' grant program-awarding $400,000 in grants, at $20,000 each, to 20 nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations around the globe.
The '20 for 20' grant program is grounded in C.H. Robinson and the Foundation's commitment to employee-driven philanthropy. Nonprofit organizations were nominated by C.H. Robinson global employees, and recipients were selected through an employee voting process and employee-led review panel. The 20 grant recipients represent a wide range of causes-from education and health to sustainability, animal welfare, and more-reflecting the diverse causes and organizations employees are passionate about.
Launched in celebration of the C.H. Robinson Foundation 20th anniversary, the '20 for 20' grant program honors two decades of community impact. Since 2005, the C.H. Robinson Foundation has donated more than $30 million to nonprofit organizations worldwide, supporting causes that make a positive impact on people, communities, industry, and planet.
"For 20 years, our people have driven the way we give back and make a positive impact in our communities," said Rachel Schwalbach, Vice President Environmental, Social and Governance and President of the C.H. Robinson Foundation. "This milestone is about more than celebrating 20 years of giving-it's about recognizing the commitment and passion our people have for making a difference for the causes they care about most."
