The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance encourages taxpayers to use Quick Pay, a free and convenient way to pay personal and business tax bills directly from their bank account without having to create an Online Services account.
"Quick Pay is a simple payment option for taxpayers to pay what they owe and meet their tax obligations," said New York State Department of Taxation and Finance Acting Commissioner Amanda Hiller. "Quick Pay is available online 24/7 - making it easier than ever to pay their tax debts."
If taxpayers receive a tax bill, they should pay it before the due date to avoid accruing additional penalties and interest.
To make a payment using Quick Pay, taxpayers need the case or assessment number from their bill and the following information from a filed return:
