DALLAS - The community is invited to join Dallas ISD Board of Trustees member Joyce Foreman for an informational session about the proposed 2026 Bond at 6 p.m. tonight, at D.A. Hulcy STEAM Middle School. The discussion will focus on the district's ongoing vision to advance campus and facility improvements-an essential investment in the next generation of Dallas ISD students.
VISUALS:Hundreds of Elementary students receive holiday gifts
Today, Winnetka Elementary School hosted its Winter Wonderland event, where nearly 700 students received a gift courtesy of the Parent Teacher Organization. Students selected presents ranging from plushies and race cars to Pokémon sets, Barbies, and beauty kits. They also took photos with Santa and his elves. The event was designed to spread holiday cheer and celebrate the entire school community.

VISUALS:Dallas ISD officer continues 11-year tradition of gift giving
This morning, Dallas ISD police officer Omar Sepulveda, known across the district as "Officer Claus," spread holiday cheer as he visited Seagoville High School to deliver gifts to students in special education. For 11 years, Sepulveda has led a toy drive inspired by his own childhood experiences and his commitment to ensuring every child receives a gift during the holidays.

Whitney Young students score with soccer clinic
Whitney M. Young Jr. Elementary School will host a special soccer clinic at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 17, thanks to support from FC Dallas and Amazon. Students will receive giveaway items and participate in skills activities led by FC Dallas, making the event especially meaningful in the school's first year of having a soccer team.
