Norman Police Investigate Fatal Collision at 60th Ave SE & SH-9

The Norman Police Department responded to a report of a single vehicle fatality collision involving at motorcycle near 60th Avenue SE and State Highway 9 at approximately 9:17 p.m. on March 24.
The initial investigation indicates that the driver of the motorcycle was traveling northbound on 60th Avenue SE when they lost control and collided with a guardrail.
The driver, a 36-year-old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The collision remains under investigation by the NPD/OUPD Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team.
