SCDOT to temporarily close Johnstone Street in Newberry County for repairs

​Columbia, S.C. (September 20, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close Johnstone Street between Collingswood Drive and Copeland Street in Newberry County for repairs beginning September 23.

The road is expected to reopen on September 27. During the closure the road will be open to local traffic only. A map of the affected area can be found below.

SCDOT asks the public to slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.
