A Delegation of Senior Officials from Central and Eastern European Countries Visits China

From October 11 to 17, 2025, a delegation of senior officials from Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) visited China at the invitation of the Secretariat of Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (hereinafter referred to as "China-CEEC Cooperation"), and made visits to Beijing and Qinghai.

During their stay in Beijing, the delegation had successive working exchanges with Xu Ganlu, Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress; Li Jian, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs of the Foreign Ministry and Executive Secretary-General of the Secretariat of China-CEEC Cooperation; and Chen Guoyou, Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for China-CEEC Cooperation Affairs. The delegation visited the Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone and high-tech enterprises. During their stay in Qinghai, the delegation inspected the Clean Energy and Green Computing Power Dispatch Center and the Hydro-photovoltaic Complementary Industrial Park, gaining a close-up experience of the vivid practice of Chinese modernization in Qinghai.

Members of the delegation said that their visit to China had been fruitful, enabling them to gain a more direct and profound understanding of China's development philosophy and Chinese modernization drive. They expressed their willingness to participate more actively and deeply in China-CEEC Cooperation, explore more opportunities for cooperation, and contribute to the sound and stable development of bilateral relations and China-Europe relations.
