Horizon Bank Announces Krista Pankopf as Vice President, Sr. Commercial Lender

Michigan City, Indiana - Janet Pasco, Market President of Oakland County, is pleased to announce Krista Pankopf as Vice President, Sr. Commercial Lender.

Working from Horizon's Troy, Michigan office, Pankopf will focus on delivering exceptional service to current and prospective business clients by creating tailored lending and deposit solutions that meet their unique needs.

Pankopf has more than 20 years of experience in private and commercial banking, building strong and trusted relationships with her clients. Over the course of her career, she has delivered specialized lending strategies for professional service clients and business owners while leveraging her expertise to provide comprehensive financial outcomes.

Beyond her professional career, Pankopf is committed to community service. She serves on the Board of Directors for Matrix Human Services and co-founded 313 in the D, a signature fundraising initiative that supports the Matrix Community Center in Detroit's Osborn neighborhood. The event recently celebrated its 12th anniversary, highlighting Pankopf's long-standing dedication to strengthening the community.

Pankopf holds an MBA from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She also currently maintains her Series 65 license along with Michigan Health and Life licensing.

Her accomplishments include multiple President's Circle Awards recognizing excellence in client service and performance, along with the Spirit of Detroit award issued by the Detroit City Council in 2019.
