Pasadena Recreation Camp Extends to Friday, January 31 for Local Students

PASADENA, Calif.- The Parks, Recreation, and Community Services (PRCS) Department is extending the free Recreation Camp through Friday, Jan. 31, for students in grades K-8 who attend a school in or around the Pasadena area that is temporarily closed. Recreation Camp facilitates a safe space for participants to join their online class, complete educational worksheets, play games, and enjoy recreational activities like arts & crafts, sports, and physical fitness. The camp is open on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Multiple Pasadena schools were damaged during the tragic Eaton Fire, resulting in school closures this week. We hope this program offers a temporary solution for families whose children are unable to attend school at this time.

If interested, register online at CityOfPasadena.net/Reserve under the "Afterschool Programs" tab.
