LAS 35415 Notice of Water Right Application

NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION
LAS 35415

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that Greatland Fuel Sales LLC, 5300 A Street, Anchorage AK 99518 applied for a water right on February 24, 2025 (Priority Date). The application proposes water withdrawals associated with commercial use at an existing laundry mat and fuel station at 19223 Old Glenn Hwy, Chugiak.

Amount of Water: 12,000 gallons per day

Source of Water: Well, 184 feet in depth, within Lot 1, Block 3, Skyline View Subdivision in Section 16, Township 15 North, Range 1 West, Seward Meridian.

Legal Description of the Area of Appurtenance: Lots 1 & 2, Block 3, Skyline View Subdivision, according to the official plat thereof, filed under Plat No. P-508, in the records of the Anchorage Recording District, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska.

Per AS 46.15.133(a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing by email to lesli.schick@alaska.gov or by mail to Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Water Resources Section, 550 W 7^th Ave, Suite 1020, Anchorage, Alaska 99501-3562 by 5:00 p.m. May 27, 2025. Pursuant to 11 AAC 93.080(6), "The public comment period set by AS 46.15.133 (c) begins the first day the newspaper publication appears, or the first day of posting, or upon receipt of the notice as evidenced by the certified mail receipt, date stamp, or other evidence of actual service."

Objection must include the objector's name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation. For more information, please contact Lesli Schick at lesli.schick@alaska.gov
