Vancouver Police Investigate Fatality Collision

February 6, 2026

On February 6, 2026, at around 9:00 a.m., Vancouver Police responded to the area of NE 162^nd Avenue/NE Poplar Street for the report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision. The female victim was transported to an area hospital but did not survive her injuries. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.

The Vancouver Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating and nothing further is releasable at this time.
