Washington, D.C. - Today, U.S. Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA) released the following statement in recognition of Jewish American Heritage Month:
"This month, we celebrate the generations of Jewish Americans whose contributions have helped shape our country and strengthen our democracy. Georgia and our entire nation are a better place because of the Jewish American community. With antisemitism on the rise in the United States and across the world, it is more important than ever that we lift up the achievements of our Jewish brothers and sisters to our great American project."
Senator Warnock co-sponsored a soon-to-be-introduced bipartisan resolution led by Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) officially recognizing May as Jewish American Heritage Month.
