Solid Waste Service Delayed Thursday, Dec. 25 & Thursday Jan. 1 Due to Holiday Observances
All City of South Fulton government offices will be closed on Thursday, December 25, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026, due to scheduled holiday closures.
As a result of the holidays, Solid Waste Services will be adjusted as follows:
December 25 holiday:
Thursday routes (December 25) will be serviced on Friday, December 26.
Friday routes (December 26) will be serviced Saturday, December 27.
Merk Miles will be closed on Thursday, December 25 and will reopen on Friday, December 26.
January 1 holiday:
Thursday routes (January 1) will be serviced on Friday, January 2.
Friday routes (January 2) will be serviced Saturday, January 3.
Merk Miles will be closed on Thursday, January 1 and will reopen on Friday, January 2.
The City will resume its normal Solid Waste Service schedule on Monday, January 5, 2026.
