Josh Riley Hosts Telephone Town Hall to Update Constituents on First Three Months in Office

This week, Congressman Josh Riley (NY-19) hosted his first telephone town hall to provide an update on his first three months in office and to answer questions directly from constituents.

"I know that Upstate New Yorkers have been sold out, overlooked, and left behind by a political system that favors special interests over working people," said Josh Riley. "I went to Congress to change that, and that's what I've been fighting to do every day during my first three months in office. I believe I'm able to do my job best when I hear directly from Upstate New Yorkers. I truly appreciate so many folks taking the time out of their evening to join us and share their opinions. I was grateful for the opportunity to respond."

Over 8,000 constituents dialed in to the conversation that covered a wide range of issues from fighting back against cuts to federal funding for Upstate's seniors to the high cost of housing, and the ongoing work that Josh is doing to lower costs for working families.

In his first three months in office, Congressman Riley has worked to take on special interests, lower costs, and make life easier for Upstate New Yorkers.

He has led bipartisan measures to support upstate dairy, support family farmers, bring down grocery prices, lower energy costs, and save families up to $400 per year.
