The Head of State Meets with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Khaled bin Mohammed Al Nahyan

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit.

The Head of State highlighted the historic significance of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's visit to Astana, during which a substantial package of documents was signed, giving strong impetus to the development of bilateral relations.

- Our cooperation is truly multifaceted in nature and spans a wide range of areas. We will continue to do our utmost to sustain and further advance our joint work, - said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The two sides discussed progress on a number of major investment projects already being successfully implemented in the fields of energy, transport and logistics, information technology, and agriculture. It was noted that these projects would help drive economic cooperation forward and boost the volume of bilateral trade.

Following the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening close cooperation between the countries.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev conveyed his best wishes to the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and said he looks forward to welcoming him on a visit to Kazakhstan.
