Overnight Intersection Closure - 26th Street & Marion Road Overlay Project

Beginning on Monday, September 28, 2026, the intersection of West 26th Street and South Marion Road will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. to allow crews to complete the remainder of the concrete repairs in the center of the intersection. The intersection is expected to reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. Tuesday morning. Motorists should utilize alternate routes during the closure.

The overall project is anticipated to be completed in late October 2026.

Intersection Closure - Euclid Avenue & 25th Street

Beginning on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, the intersection of South Euclid Avenue and West 25th Street will be closed to allow crews to perform storm drainage repairs.

Motorists should utilize other neighborhood streets during the closure.

Weather permitting, this intersection is anticipated to reopen in approximately five weeks.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Sidewalk Closures - Chicago Avenue & Madison Street/Tricia Lane

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, portions of the sidewalk will be closed at the intersections of Chicago Avenue and Tricia Lane, and Chicago Avenue and Madison Street to allow contracting crews to perform accessible curb ramp repairs.

The sidewalk on the south side of Tricia Lane and the north side of Madison Street will be closed during this work for approximately 1 week. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured around the work zone.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Parking Lot Improvements - Caille Library

Beginning on Thursday, October 1, 2026, milling in preparation for an asphalt overlay will begin in the parking lot for Caille Library, located at 4100 S Carnegie Circle.

The milling and asphalt overlay are anticipated to be completed by Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

During construction, parking in the lot will be limited. Caille Library will remain open throughout the duration of the project. Patrons are encouraged to plan accordingly and use caution when traveling through the parking lot.
