Prison birth simulated experience, April 21

The McNeely Prison Education Consortium, in partnership with the College of Nursing, Education Preparedness Program and Center for Urban Research, Teaching and Outreach, invites the campus and community to attend the Prison Birth Simulated Experiences on Tuesday, April 21, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Marquette Hall 100.

Presented by the Wisconsin Prison Birth Project and The Ostara Initiative, this immersive birth reenactment follows the experience of childbirth behind bars, offering insight into the realities faced by incarcerated individuals.
