A man has died following a crash in Sydney's west last night.
Shortly after 10.30pm (Wednesday 13 November 2024), emergency services were called to the Hume Motorway, at Ingleburn, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.
Officers from Campbelltown Police Area Command attended and found a utility and truck had collided.
The passenger of the utility, a 37-year-old man, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics on scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he later died.
The driver, a 47-year-old man, was trapped for a short time before he was released and taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The truck driver, a 36-year-old man, was not injured.
Police established a crime scene, and an investigation has commenced with the assistance of specialist officers from the Crash Investigation Unit.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
