State Minister for Finance and Railways and Head of the Prime Minister's Delivery Unit, Bilal Azhar Kayani, visited Sianwala, Jalalpur Sharif, to pay tribute to Punjab Police martyr Haider Ali Hussain, who sacrificed his life while saving people from floodwaters. The minister laid flowers at the martyr's grave, offered Fatiha, and expressed deep respect for his bravery.
Bilal Azhar Kayani also visited the martyr's family, met with them, and extended his condolences. On behalf of Pakistan Muslim League (N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the state minister conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the grieving family.
During his meeting with Haider Ali Hussain's parents, Kayani praised the martyr's unparalleled courage, highlighting how he had achieved the highest honor of martyrdom while rescuing people trapped in floodwaters. He assured the family that Haider Ali Hussain's sacrifice would always be remembered and that the government would provide them with the martyr's package.
The state minister also announced that a memorial would be constructed in the martyr's name in his hometown, Sianwala, and the central square of the area would be renamed after him.
Bilal Azhar Kayani prayed for the elevation of the martyr's ranks and patience for the bereaved family. DPO Tariq Aziz Sandhu accompanied the state minister during the visit.
