Scholarship Opportunity for Lebanon County High School Seniors Who Serve Their Community

Lebanon, PA - Lebanon County, PA - Making a Difference of Lebanon, PA is proud to announce its 2026 Scholarship Contest, recognizing graduating high school seniors in Lebanon County who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service and whose values align with the organization's mission.

The nonprofit will award four (4) non-renewable scholarships of $1,000 each to eligible students who are actively involved in serving their community. The scholarship is open to graduating seniors who reside in and attend high school in Lebanon County, including cyber school and homeschool students, and who plan to pursue post-secondary education at a college, university, technical program, or certification program.

Making a Difference of Lebanon, PA's mission is to build lasting relationships throughout the Lebanon County community by providing services to youth, veterans, and those in need through education, service projects, and events. This scholarship aims to support students who reflect those values through meaningful community involvement.

Applications will be accepted through April 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM (EST). Students must submit a completed application, references, and a 300-600 word essay describing their community service involvement in Lebanon County and how they plan to remain engaged after high school.

Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the 2026 Making a Difference of Lebanon, PA Awards and Appreciation Reception on May 7, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a graduating high school senior
• Must reside in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania
• Must attend high school in Lebanon County (including Cyber School and Home School students)
• Must be pursuing higher education (including college/university, technical programs, or certification/licensing programs)

This scholarship is more than a financial award-it's a recognition of students who lead with heart, serve with integrity, and inspire others through their dedication to improving the lives of those around them.
