Closing the gap between what we can imagine and what we can build

AI is expanding what's possible, but our ability to deliver in the real world hasn't caught up. We're still constrained by money, labor, and resources. AI can help close that gap by expanding what people are capable of with the resources they have. At AU 2026, we're showing how Autodesk AI and our Industry Clouds-Forma, Fusion and Flow-unlock capacity across Design, Make and Operate. For individuals, that means being more productive, creative, and impactful. For companies, it's more predictable, profitable, and competitive. And across project ecosystems, it means using fewer resources per project so teams can take on and win more work. Our industry clouds connect people, data, and workflows that make industries work. Together with Autodesk AI and more than four decades of industry expertise, that connected project data and industry context create project intelligence: actionable intelligence that helps teams understand what is happening and what to do next. Intelligence alone doesn't build housing and infrastructure, manufacture products, or create entertainment. People do. By putting people at the center, Autodesk AI helps turn intelligence into practical, measurable outcomes.

AI that understands the project, not just the prompt

Autodesk Assistant is our AI interface for Design and Make, bringing project intelligence into customers' workflows so they can understand, plan, and act while staying in control. Assistant is already available across many Autodesk products, helping customers work with Autodesk AI inside the tools they use today. At AU, we're previewing the next generation of Assistant: an expanded agentic AI experience designed to bring the right Autodesk capabilities across products, projects, and teams. Instead of requiring customers to know which Autodesk product or AI capability to reach for, the experience starts from what they are trying to accomplish and brings forward the relevant information and capabilities. Where supported, customers can also bring their own agents, tools, and trusted partners services into the experience. That lets professionals focus on the problem they need to solve, not the product they need to solve it. Learn more about Autodesk Assistant

AEC: Putting project intelligence to work across the lifecycle

AEC workflows need more than just a better model, so we're building project intelligence that stays useful across the lifecycle. Connecting information, decisions, and context throughout a project helps teams spend less time rebuilding information and more time moving projects forward. Forma is expanding across more of the AEC lifecycle, with Civil 3D becoming the newest Forma Connected Client. Across Forma and Revit, Autodesk AI helps teams explore more options, reduce repetitive work and act on project information with greater confidence, while new AI-powered construction agents help teams reduce manual review and focus on the decisions that matter. Design & Manufacturing: Carrying design intent forward

Design and manufacturing work depends on more than a prompt. AI needs to understand geometry, engineering intent, and product data so teams can make better decisions across the product lifecycle. In Fusion, new AI capabilities automate repetitive design and manufacturing tasks while a new agentic PLM experience helps connect product data and decisions across teams. Autodesk Assistant is also expanding in Inventor and Vault to help engineers work more effectively with the data and tools they already use. Learn more about our Design & Manufacturing news

Operations: Closing the lifecycle loop

Some of the greatest opportunities to unlock capacity emerge after an asset or system is built. In an environment where buildings, infrastructure, equipment, and systems must work together every day for decades, operational data shows how designs actually perform in the real world, creating a feedback loop that can improve future design and engineering. Our acquisition of MaintainX helps close the loop across Design, Make, and Operate by connecting operational intelligence to action in the field. Together, these capabilities can help teams address issues before they become downtime, get more from the assets they already have, and carry what they learn in operations back into what they design and make next. Media & Entertainment: How AI fits across professional creative workflows

For creators, one of the biggest constraints is the distance between an idea and the finished work they can put on screen. AI can shorten that distance, but only if artists want to keep precise control of the creative decisions that define the work. At AU 2026, we're showing how Flow products help creators move from generation to direction. Capabilities in Flow Studio let artists create and assemble characters and AI-generated worlds, then direct and refine them in an editable 3D environment, while AI-assisted tools like MotionMaker in Maya reduce repetitive animation work and keep artists in control of the final performance. Join us on the journey

The opportunity now is to design, make, and operate a more continuous lifecycle, where data and context move with the work, project intelligence grows as the work advances, and AI helps people act on it. Together, that is how we unlock more capacity and extend human expertise to help people accomplish more.
