Fiscal Responsibility with Richton Park Finance

The Finance Department under the leadership of the Finance Director and Assistant Finance Director, continues to look for opportunities to increase revenue without negatively impacting residents along with executing a higher level of capital improvement projects. Other notable accomplishments are:

• Reduced the Village of Richton Park's audit findings from 13 to zero.
• Reducing operating cost through process improvements and bulk purchasing.
• Improving efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
• Successfully managed a budget of approximately $40m for several years, demonstrating fiscal responsibility
• Implemented the Transparency Portal that shares financial data and key information to keep the residents informed and engaged. The portal can be accessed through the Village's website at Richtonpark.org.
