The city of Burleson is proud to announce that Councilmember Victoria Johnson has been elected to serve as president of the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) Executive Board for the 2025-2026 term. Johnson was elected during NCTCOG's 59th annual General Assembly, held Friday, June 13 at the Hurst Conference Center.
As president, Johnson will lead the 17-member board in its mission to strengthen regional collaboration, address shared challenges, and plan for sustainable growth across North Central Texas.
"I am honored to be NCTCOG's 2025-2026 president," Johnson said. "I look forward to working with the Executive Board as we build on the strong foundation laid by previous leaders. I'm confident we will continue to meet the opportunities and challenges ahead to ensure North Central Texas remains one of the premier regions in the state and nation."
