Lane Closure Extension - West Madison Street

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026, eastbound traffic on West Madison Street will be closed between North Lyon Boulevard and North Louise Avenue. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to West 12th Street. Due to weather, this notice is being extended.

Ellis and Eastern Railroad will be making repairs to the rail crossing in the eastbound lanes of Madison Street.

This work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Monday, November 9, 2026.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Utility Work - South Western Avenue

Beginning on Monday, November 9, 2026, the outside southbound lane of South Western Avenue will be closed between West 46th Street and West 49th Street from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily to allow crews to perform sanitary sewer repairs. Sidewalks will remain open and access to West 46th Street will be maintained as the work progresses.

The repairs are expected to be complete within three days.
