Other participants included Nikolaus Marschik, Secretary General for Foreign Affairs at the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, and Martin Frick, Head of the Liechtenstein Office of Foreign Affairs.

Participants exchanged views on key international challenges and shared priorities concerning the future European security architecture and Europe's role in an evolving geopolitical landscape. They agreed that the growing number of conflicts with pronounced geopolitical and geoeconomic dimensions, together with the rise of protectionist policies, is affecting transatlantic relations and making diplomatic solutions to the situation in the Middle East increasingly difficult to achieve. The meeting also addressed Russia's ongoing aggression against Ukraine, efforts to secure a just and lasting peace, and the long-term reconstruction of Ukraine. The four countries reaffirmed their shared interest in preserving and rebuilding trust in the multilateral international order based on international law, effective international organisations and cooperation.

The regular regional dialogue within the framework of the Quadrilateral Group provides an important forum for coordinating foreign policy positions among the four European partner countries and contributes to a more unified approach in an increasingly unstable international environment. The meeting reaffirmed the value of the forum, which has been operating since 2011, as well as Slovenia's strengthened role in regional diplomacy.
