The International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) is pleased to announce that Danny Diaz and Eric Pelofsky have joined IFES's Board of Directors. Their three-year terms started on January 1, 2025.
"We are delighted to welcome these distinguished leaders to our Board," said IFES Board Chair M. Peter McPherson. "Danny and Eric bring exceptional expertise in strategy and international affairs, which will enhance our ability to support democratic institutions and processes globally."
Diaz is a founding and managing partner at FP1 Strategies, where he leads complex communications and public affairs campaigns. Pelofsky serves as Vice President for Global Economic Recovery at The Rockefeller Foundation and brings extensive government experience across three administrations.
"In today's complex global landscape, Danny's strategic communications expertise and Eric's deep international experience will be invaluable assets to IFES," said IFES Board Co-Chair Amb. William Eacho. "Their diverse perspective will enhance our ability to support democratic institutions and processes globally."
IFES also extends its gratitude to retiring Board Director Daniel Runde, who has served with dedication and distinction since 2016. "Daniel's service on the IFES Board, and as long-time Chair of the Board's Governance Committee, has been a model and inspiration for all of our Directors," said McPherson.
